New letter to the editor

After a long time of trying in vain to make my feelings to the oposite sex heard, I had a golden oportunity to write another letter to the editor of 'The Week'. At first they didn't publish it. But I sent the letter again. This time they did print it, but alas! they did a goddamn typo in my e-mail ID. So all my hopes of meeting some like minded babe went down the drain. I'm not very sure if they didn't do it deliberately. Anyway, here's the letter.

A rattled man

The decision of the go-getting young women (‘Single & swinging’, Feb. 27) to stay single is justifiable. But some things were left unsaid. How many of these women can settle for a non-working husband who will stay at home and do the household chores? Will they proudly introduce their husband at a party as just a ‘house hubby’?

I am sure I’m not the only guy who loves the idea of living with such dominating hyper females. We will definitely be there to encourage and support our ‘greater halves’. We’ll gladly take responsibility of all things ‘wifish’. So, girls, how about coming home to a smiling ‘house hubby’ after a gruelling day at work and hear him chatting about your kid’s dance class while he gets you a cup of tea? Maybe you would like to stay late in bed and wake up to his greeting you with a steaming cup of morning coffee.
